Listed below you will find the most common issues that affect exam takers. Please review the steps below and attempt to resolve the issue being experienced, prior to starting a chat.
CLOSED:
The IT Support Centre is currently closed. If you are currently in a Proctored Exam or having trouble with setting up a Proctored Exam profile, reach out to the vendor for direct support.
If you are in a timed quiz that is not being proctored, email your instructor directly to report your problem.
After hours issues can also be submitted via the online help form "Get IT Help" by visiting https://queensu.service-now.com/esm

Important Messages
Examity Password Insert:
If you are having trouble inserting the Password in Examity: Check Chrome to see if an update is pending or installing - complete the update.
Restart Computer, selecting not to reopen existing apps or windows
EXAMITY SCREEN SHARE FAILS:
Macs:
1) If Chrome has an Update warning, update it.
2) Restart Computer - Selecting not to Reopen existing apps or Windows
Try now and if it still fails
3) Turn off all Extensions in Chrome except for Examity
4) Accept all cookies
5) Open macOS System Preferences - Security & Privacy - Privacy Tab
Note: As you make changes, select "Quit & Reopen"
6) Find the “Screen Recording” section and check if Google Chrome is enabled If not enabled, please enable and restart Chrome. If already enabled, highlight it, click the - to remove it. Then add it back by clicking + and selecting it from Applications. Enable it again. Now close and restart Chrome and access the exam.
